The Crazy Horse Memorial in South Dakota is a privately funded Native American memorial. When completed, the statue of Crazy Horse will be the world’s largest free-standing statue.

Our relationship started while we were working with Elite Custom Motorcycles in Arizona. We were looking for ways to build their brand and showcase their custom motorcycles. We knew that each year nearly a million motorcycle riders descend on Sturgis South Dakota, which happens to be a short distance from Crazy Horse. We presented our idea to create a one-day event at Crazy Horse and raffle off a “Crazy Horse” themed custom bike built by Elite, and they agreed.

The event was promoted through viral and grass roots efforts aimed at the biker community and drew nearly 450,000 bikers that day, raising nearly $4.5 million dollars for the Memorial. This year the bike was auctioned and resulted in an additional $200,000 being raised.
