That’s the thinking behind the Heinz Red Zone promotion, now in its fourth successful season, combining football and Heinz products. For four years Giant Ideas has worked with Heinz to create this extremely effective sports promotional campaign.
Whenever the home team enters “The Heinz Red Zone”, the twenty yard line, both television and radio announcers reveal that the team has entered the Heinz Red Zone and promotional commercials featuring that week’s Heinz products available at local retailers run during the next commercial break. It is a unique combination of national advertiser, the NFL, media and local retailers that has proven to be so successful during the last four seasons.
